The location
The structure was built in the childhood places of the Polese family, right next to a large oil tank, a millstone called “palmento”, which at the time scented the clear air of autumn. As of today, Villa Palmentiello bears this name in honor of the great rural tradition of the area and represents the realization of a family dream that has been able to put together the love for nature, the passion for hospitality and the joy of being able to introduce guests to the wonders of the coastal area and the entire Campania region.

Chef Maria Consiglia Cannavacciuolo bearing ancient knowledge and tradition, using ingredients from the gardens and the farm of the Villa, provides courses that prove to be respectful of the seasonality of the products, always presented as elegant as creative, with an unmistakable flavor at the first taste.

Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrento Peninsula, Vesuvius, Naples or Salerno are in fact just a few kilometers away and within easy reach.

Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrento Peninsula, Vesuvius, Naples or Salerno are in fact just a few kilometers away and within easy reach.
Pompeii and Herculaneum with their famous excavations are only a few dozen kilometers away, Vesuvius with its unique charm is about 20 km away, Naples and its wonders are about 30 km away. Sorrento and its beauties, Positano and its magical coastline, Amalfi with its Duomo and the elegant and immortal Ravello are easily reachable. The mythical Capri with its Blue Cave is just 45 km away, Ischia and its blue sea is just 60 km, along with Procida Capital of Culture 2022. Salerno with its beautiful artistic lights at Christmas is about 30 km, Paestum and its temples is about 70 km, Caserta and its Reggia 50 km.

Villa Palmentiello is a place that fascinates even those who love food and wine tours, because the center of Campania Felix is birthplace to all the extraordinary catalog of the most famous flavors: Gragnano and its renowned artisan pasta, together with the well-known tomato canning industries are just a few kilometers away. Within an area of ten kilometers you could visit the most famous wineries custodians to the Sorrento Peninsula Doc wines or Vesuvius wines, the cheese factories which produce the Provolone del Monaco DOP and the oil companies that produce the extra virgin olive oil of the DOP Sorrento Peninsula. The farms that produce the walnuts of Sorrento, the tomatoes of Vesuvius Slow Food presidium, the lemons of Amalfi IGP and Sorrento IGP are about 15 km. Those producing the famous Cetara anchovies and its casting Slow Food Presidium are about 35 km away.
